Overview
Stone setting programs at Robert Deda Jewelry Academy are designed to develop real professional skills through intensive practical training and individual guidance in a professional working environment.
The program focuses on developing technical control, precision in stone setting, structural stability, and quality of execution — elements that define the real standard of a professional stone setter.
Training is fully practical and oriented toward developing skills that can be directly applied in real work.
Groups are limited in order to ensure maximum focus and real technical progress for each student.
Maximum 5 students per group. Individual workbench for each student.
Techniques
Students are trained in the following stone setting methods:
Fishtail, Pavé, Multipavé, Castle, Channel, Flush, Bezel, Center Stone, X Setting.
Precision techniques including bright cut and deep bright cut, bead setting, setting stones of different sizes and shapes, building geometric structures, and adapting technique according to the structure of the work.
The program also includes the development of accurate measurement for stone setting, professional preparation of the stone seat, correct positioning and symmetry, stability and security of the setting, aesthetic finishing and final quality control.
The focus is not only on learning techniques, but on developing professional control and execution standards.
Equipment
Students are trained using professional equipment used in the international jewelry industry, including a professional microscope for stone setting, GRS GraverMax pneumatic system, professional GRS tools, precision systems for work control, and an individual professional workbench for each student.
All tools are selected based on over 25 years of experience in stone setting, ensuring that students train with equipment that reflects real professional standards.
The program also includes the development of professional control over tools, correct use of gravers, and professional sharpening techniques.
Students learn not only how to use the tools, but how to control them according to professional standards.

Training takes place in a professional working environment with direct guidance from the instructor.
Each student works individually at their own workbench, receives direct guidance throughout the entire process, and develops technical control through intensive practice.
The training approach is based on individual progress and real development of practical skills.

Training is fully practical and takes place directly at the workbench in real working conditions.
Materials
During training, students work with silver in order to develop real skills in professional metal processing.
Basic materials for exercises are included in the program.
If students choose to take their finished pieces with them, the value of the silver used is charged based on the current material price.
Certification
After completing the program, students receive a Certificate of Completion confirming the practical training and total number of hours completed.
Reservation is completed after filling out the application form, confirming availability, and paying a 10% deposit. The number of places is limited to ensure individual focus and high quality training.
